Our secure server software encrypts all your personal information including credit or debit card number, name and address. We have had no reports of any beautysleuth customers experiencing fraud as a result of shopping with us.

What is a secure server?
A secure server webpage is different to a normal webpage. You will know you are on a secure webpage because the padlock (on explorer at the bottom and on navigator on the top toolbar) will be highlighted and closed.

What level of encryption do we use?
We use SSL (secure socket layer) level encryption. This is one of the most advanced encrypting technologies available today. In the unlikely event that fraudulent or unauthorised use of your credit card takes place as a result of your visit to beautysleuth, most banks or credit card providers will normally cover you for any losses or limit your liability to £50. If, however, your bank or credit card provider does not cover your losses resulting from unauthorised use of your credit card, beautysleuth.co.uk will cover your losses up to £50 provided that the unauthorised use resulted from, through no fault of your own, shopping on beautysleuth.co.uk whilst using our secure server.

What additional security checks do you carry out?
All orders are subject to additional security checks once they have been placed. Should your billing address or card holder details not match the details held by the card issuing bank please contact us to confirm the correct information.

We reserve the right to hold any orders that do not pass bank security checks.
